You can freely taste the wines produced by Château de Pizay, from the fruity to the most complex, while browsing at leisure the three tasting areas with wine stations equipped with automated tasting sample dispensers.

2- Round and Powerful: Régnié / Brouilly / Morgon / Morgon Cuvée du Py
3- Elegant and complex: Gosmard de Pizeys /Beaujolais Blanc/Morgon les Sybarites/Morgon Cuvée du Py

Wine sensory course with its 8 fun wine initiation workshops

Have fun discovering oenology through 8 workshops, unique in France. Discover the basics of wine- tasting with quizzes on colour, aroma, flavour, flavour interactions, tannin, the difference between aromas and flavours, using oak barrels and the aging of wine…

Take a break half-way round to watch a video on the history and production of wine at Château de Pizay.

In the last two workshops you can start practicing with wine before joining the "Discovery/Tasting" area on the ground floor to put into practice all the knowledge acquired during this course.

Since the Middle Ages, the fine wines of Château de Pizay have captivated the most demanding connoisseurs of Beaujolais

With a long history of fine crus, their noble descendants are vinified according to the best traditions and enjoyed worldwide.

A Morgon wine is the culmination of all the best that the Beaujolais land can offer and of the people who work it. Over the seasons, the 80 ha of the estate are maintained carefully to offer amateurs the quintessential Morgon terroir flavours.

Under the cool arches of its cellars, the cellar master will be pleased to introduce you to the subtleties of wine and offer you his most delicious creations to taste (see wine shop opening hours).

- The Wine Sensory Course + Wine-tasting in Discovery Area : 20€/adult – with free tasting glass
Each participant will receive by email a personalized bronze, silver or gold "Taste Vin" diploma, the colour depending on the points accumulated during the quizzes.
