Exceptional Function room for your wedding at Château de Pizay

Located 45 kilometers north of Lyon, 23 kilometers from Macon and in the heart of Beaujolais vineyards, Château de Pizay is pleased to propose its large estate for your wedding party. Under the Charmilles, in the 19th century cellar, or in the Cuvage room, your wedding can only be sublime.
For up to 200 guests, several venues on the estate can be reserved for your exclusive use, including:

The Hornbeam avenue:
This large shaded avenue  dating from the 19th century, is the place to welcome your guests for an aperitif or cocktail.
The 17th Century garden was designed by landscape architect Le Nôtre and the yews are living topiary chess pieces. The avenue leads to the French garden, an ideal place to take family photos and relax during the wedding.
For guests wishing to arrive by air, we have a licensed heliport located below the garden (access conditions to be negotiated with the Château de Pizay).
You can also arrange for a fireworks display from the Château (fireworks requests also subject to specific conditions).

Wine Cellar:
If the weather precludes an aperitif or cocktail in the Hornbeam avenue, the 19thCentury double-vaulted wine cellar is at your disposal. This place is still in use for maturing the Morgon crus that the Château produces on its 80 ha of vines.
The buffets for aperitif or cocktail are prepared in the first part of the, cellar, providing a fine view of the casks and oak barrels where our wines are maturing.

The Cuvage room:
Dinner dances can take place in the Cuvage room. Covering an area of 500m², it accommodates up to 250 guests and has a dance floor.
At the entrance, two wooden vats and 2 hundred-year old wine presses are reminders of what this building was used for in the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries. In this ground-floor room old-world charm and modernity complement each other with air conditioning, underfloor heating, dimmer switches, cloak room, 4x3 screen, video projector and toilet equipped for people with reduced mobility. Disc jockey or band can make use of the 18 m² stage at the end of the hall. The Cuvage room is rented with its teak chairs and beige cushions and tables of different sizes.
